Can I make money on YouTube?

That, is the question.

At first, I considered trying to build a channel based on all of these snorkeling and paddleboarding videos, but I'm not sure there's enough meat on the bone, so to speak.

When I sat down and really thought about what I could offer in terms of unique and relevant content, I realized the fact I'm a GenX, almost retired, US expat living in a small town in Mexico, that maybe I do have something unique and relevant and helpful to share.

To that end, I've made a commitment and am going to invest some time in trying to grow my YouTube channel and start to monetize it.

I'll be posting new videos on Wednesdays on a topic related to being an expat. On Sundays I'll be posting an update on how my channel growth is going and the tools and work I'm doing to try to get the word out.
